In the face of injury or other insult we instinctively aim toward protecting ourselves.  Doing so often results in movement patterns and postures that exacerbate rather than alleviate discomfort, be it physical or emotional.  Focused breathing, integrated with gentle movement, can provide the foundation for healing and easier ways of being.  Using Awareness Through Movement lessons as the focus of inquiry, we’ll explore the potency of breath in supporting ease.

The experiential morning session is open to the public, practitioners and trainees alike.

The afternoon session is open only to practitioners. In the afternoon session for practitioners we will investigate integrating breathing into all aspects of teaching the Feldenkrais Method.
