Every component of our system - bones, muscles, organs, and nerves are innervated and thus sense-responsive. Because our bones are suspended, tied in place by many of these other tissues, when we address a student through the skeleton we also elicit other tissues. If the tissue is very habituated it may dull the sensory response and cause the loss of inclusion of the area in our self image. We will explore how utilizing our method of contact from a slightly different perspective can enable us to address these tissues in order to create a more complete functional self-image.

Trainees attending this workshop must be enrolled in Year 3 or 4.
