Certification Frequently Asked Questions (PDF)
The document above contains frequently asked questions about certification. It also includes an explanation of how to meet the requirements for 20 hours of Continuing Education needed for re-certifying each year.
Certification gives you authorization to use the FGNA service marks in the USA and Canada in connection with products and services directly related to the practice of the Feldenkrais Method® and training programs accredited by FGNA. It protects our profession and the public by requiring continuing education, professional practice, and adherence to Standards of Practice, Code of Professional Conduct, and Service Mark Guidelines. Certification must be renewed annually. The deadline to renew is December 1.
You may use this worksheet to track your professional activity as it relates to certification.
Provisional Certification Application (PDF)
Feldenkrais® practitioners must renew their certification with the Feldenkrais Guild® of North America annually. If you have let your certification lapse you must apply for provisional certification using the form above.
If you have not met the provisional certification requirements, but have completed at least half of the stated requirements within the last 3 years, please contact the membership and certification assistant at 800.775.2118 x125 so that we can assist you in becoming re-certified.

Part 1: Awareness Through Movement® lessons
Part 2: Functional Integration® lessons
This library collection features the first two years of the Amherst Professional Training Program (1980 and 1981), Amherst, Massachusetts, USA).
These are the last recorded teachings of Moshe Feldenkrais. The videos are in their original unedited form, presenting the lessons just as he taught them. They also include individual Functional Integration® lessons filmed in private sessions with Moshe following the Amherst classes.
These tapes can be used to meet the Annual CEU requirements for re-certification for Feldenkrais® Practitioners. One hour of recording equals one hour of CEU credit. Tapes are $4/tape for Individuals, $10/tape for Trainings. See the order form in the pdf for further details.
