What are my on-site lodging options?
The residence halls at CU Boulder provide exceptional comfort and excellent amenities for the conference guests, whether it's single or multi-occupancy dormitory space. The majority of the rooms provide shared community bathrooms with private shower stalls. All on-campus accommodations include: 
  • High-speed wireless internet
  • Electronic key building and room access
  • Room furnishings include (per guest) an extra long twin bed, dresser, bookcase, desk/desk chair, closet and a micro-fridge to share
  • Maintenance service: please notify front desk staff if anything in your room requires fixing
  • Coin (or Campus Cash) operated laundry facilities in each residence hall (don't forget to bring detergent!)

Is there wifi on campus?
  • Access wireless service on campus by selecting UCB Guest wireless from your available Wi-Fi network options and accepting the terms and conditions upon opening your web browser. You will be prompted to re-accept these terms and conditions every 24 hours.
  • If you encounter difficulty accessing the Internet, call 303-735-HELP (4357) or email help@colorado.edu for assistance during their business hours (7:30 am – 7:00 pm, Monday-Friday).
  • Check firewalls or security settings on your computer that could possibly complicate accessing the campus Wi-Fi system before you arrive

What are the meal options for those staying on campus?

If you are staying on campus, the price of lodging includes your meals. This includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

What are the meal options for those staying off campus?
If you are staying off campus, you have the option to purchase individual meals in the dining hall. No prior purchase is necessary.

What are the meal times?
Breakfast: 7:00am-10:30am
Lunch: 11:00am-4:29pm
Dinner: 4:30pm-6:30pm


Transportation ~ FAQ

Greenride (Shuttle Service)

Public Transit (Bus) 
The Regional Transportation District (RTD). operates a bus from DIA to Boulder (Route AB) that makes several convenient stops in Boulder, including the downtown 14th and Walnut station. Buses leave approximately every 60 minutes from the airport. The schedule can be found on RTD's website (scroll to Skyride Schedules and select route AB/AB1/AB2 Boulder/Denver Airport). Tickets are paid directly to the driver upon boarding the bus (cash and exact change only). This is an economical option, with one-way tickets costing $10.50. RTD has an information booth on the baggage claim level of the Main Terminal. The trip takes approximately 80 minutes.
  • Uber now has a partnership with RTD  (which runs the public buses). You can use the Uber app to plan your route and pay for your bus fare. Just open your Uber app, choose your destination and starting location, and hit "Transit" among the product options.

Ride Share Option
DIA is served by the Lyft , Uber or Z Trip . driver service apps. Load the app of your choice and request a ride to receive up-front pricing and personal service to and from DIA.

  • $84.00 flat rate from Boulder to DIA
  • $84.00 flat rate + $4.15 gate fee ($88.15 TOTAL) for all trips originating at DIA
  • The driver must charge a flat rate of $84 per taxicab. No other stops may be made along the way. The flat rate applies regardless of the number of passengers/parties that share a ride. No other charges may be added to this $84 flat rate for trips going to DIA. No additional charges may be added if passengers/parties exit the taxicab at different airline terminals within DIA.

Parking on Campus
If you are planning to park on campus for the duration of the event, please click here. There will be a list of events displayed, you will need to choose either FGNA 2019 Folsom Garage or FGNA 2019 lot 308 and follow the instructions from there. The site is much like any online shopping site. Pick your item add it to the cart and proceed to check out. The permit is $17. An electronic copy of the permit will be emailed to you and it is not required to print.

* The customer will need to provide the vehicles license plate information to be valid.

If you are planning to park daily, please use the parking map to assist in finding the closest short term parking lot. These will be paid through the may meter stations. Click on the parking and transportation tab to find options.

Interested in Carpooling?

If you have a vehicle, list your information, including how many passengers you can take, your arrival or departure time, where you’re coming from (i.e., which airport), and how much you want everyone to chip in. If you are looking for a ride, and there is no car listed, put your name on the waiting list.
