Join us and our mystery guests to find out What The Feldies are doing. What are our colleagues and other guests doing that is different and they believe makes them successful? It will be an evening of Wonderment, Triumph and Fantastic sharing. Expect some controversial ideas, though, that may change the way you are thinking about your Work, Thoughts about marketing, and Frankly everything you do. During the evening you will have a chance to reflect on and share with others. What makes you stand out? This evening Will reverberate Throughout your being For the rest of the Conference and beyond.
Staffan Elgelid, PT, PhD, GCFP, C-IAYT, RYT-500.
Staffan Elgelid is a Professor of Physical Therapy at Nazareth College. He is also a Feldenkrais® Practitioner. A native of Sweden, Staffan has worked in a wide variety of settings, including owning his own clinics, and has presented at conferences on a wide variety of topics such as Complementary Approaches to Health, Guided Imagery, Healthy Aging, Mentoring, Awareness, Core Strengthening, and Feldenkrais, both in the US and internationally. Staffan is currently on the advisory board of the International Association of Yoga Therapists, the Board of Directors of the Yoga Alliance. Staffan edited “Yoga Therapy: Theory and Practice” and is the co-author of “Yoga for Stress and Anxiety” and “Yoga for Active Adults.”
Chrish has been teaching the Feldenkrais Method® across the world for over 20 years in places such as the U.S., Ghana, Morocco, France, and Nepal.
In addition to working with performing artists, athletes and business executives alike, Chrish specializes in working with individuals with disabilities, and is also a graduate of the Anat Baniel Neuromovement® Method for Children. Her studies with Ruthy Alon (Movement Intelligence) have also informed her work.
Chrish has served 3 terms on the national Board of Directors of the Feldenkrais Guild® of North America and has chaired numerous annual Feldenkrais Method® conferences in North America.
She maintains an active private practice and teaches 5 group Feldenkrais classes per week in her studio in Northwest Washington, D.C. She is also currently studying at the Feldenkrais Training Academy in Seattle with Dr. Jeffrey Haller.
