We are delighted to let you know that the IFF’s Feldenkrais Research Journal is being published again. Four volumes were published between 2004 and 2008, and now we have Volume 5 up online.

Volume 5 includes news and original research articles, and a number of articles on hypothesis and theory, in including articles on the idea of ‘body memory’, the Feldenkrais Method and health, a variety of articles on the Feldenkrais Method and arts practice, along with a review of Feldenkrais’s Doing and Thinking. The last eight years of research and scholarship are covered in an Editorial – which includes links to much of the growing Feldenkrais research literature that is available online.

Work is already underway on Volume 6, ‘Practices of Freedom: The Feldenkrais Method and Creativity’, which looks at this rapidly growing field of Feldenkrais practice. See the Journal website for the Call for Contributions. Submissions can be made now through April 2017.

We invite you to have a look at Volume 5 – and the earlier volumes if you hadn’t had a chance to see them before. If you are interested in writing for the Journal, or joining the team of editors, then please get in touch:
Most of all, please let your colleagues and anyone you think would be interested about the Journal know about it!
