Congratulations to Guild Certified Feldenkrais Practitionerscm Cynthia Allen and Carol Montgomery for the recent publication of their somatic research study, "Alternative Movement Program in Geriatric Rehabilitation" in The Functional Neurology, Rehabilitation, and Ergonomics. Their pilot study showed that after six weekly classes, Bones for Life® positively impacted one's balance, vitality, and "biological optimism."

Curious about Bones for Life and how it's
 connected to the Feldenkrais Method®?

Bones for Life (BFL) helps participants explore the movement intelligence of bone strength and weight-bearing posture and is based on Dr. Feldenkrais' approach to somatic education.
BFL was founded by one of the thirteen students in Feldenkrais's first professional training, Ruthy Alon. Alon began attending Feldenkrais's classes in Tel Aviv in 1959 before they were even called Awareness Through Movement® lessons and has gone on to teach both the Feldenkrais Method and other programs under her Movement Intelligence umbrella, including Bones for Life, among others.
Study with Ruthy Alon at Conference!

The Feldenkrais Guild® is beyond excited that Ruthy Alon is sharing her brilliance with the Feldenkrais community by teaching this September at the 2018 Feldenkrais Conference.

Alon's workshop, "Solutions for Freedom from Movement Limitations" is filling up quickly, so register now or miss out on this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to learn from one of Moshe's first students!

It is not mentioned that Ruthy is also a Senior Trainer of the Feldenkrais Method, par excellence! She may still be Training Certified Trainings in Israel and Italy , or certainly was until very recently. It might also be mentioned that she is 88 years old and still going strong!
