Certified Feldenkrais ATM Teacher(CM)

Do you teach Awareness Through Movement® classes, but don’t offer Functional Integration® lessons? If so, the FGNA Board of Directors has created new membership and certification options for graduates of accredited training programs who don't need all the benefits of Professional Membership and Certification: Certified Feldenkrais Awareness Through Movement TeacherCM (CFATMTCM) Member and CFATMT Certification Only.

The privileges and responsibilities of a being a CFATMT professional are similar to those of a Guild Certified Feldenkrais Practitioner
CM, but there are some important differences:

As a CFATMT Member, your benefits will include CFATMT certification, online directory and event listings, publications, discounts, eligibility for PLUS membership with professional liability insurance, and more. CFATMT certification is also available separately, without membership benefits.

Important differences between CFATMT Certification and GCFP Certification:

  • CFATMT Standards of Practice, Certification and Service Mark policies will apply.
  • CFATMT professionals are not authorized to use the service marks and certification marks Functional Integration®, FI®, Guild Certified Feldenkrais PractitionerCM and Guild Certified Feldenkrais Teacher®.
  • If you change from GCFP certification to CFATMT certification, you will need to change all your promotional materials including websites and social media, to meet these requirements.
CFATMT membership and certification are only available to graduates of accredited training programs. Information on how to become an Authorized Trainee ATM Teacher is available here.
