Competency Cards

Here are all 391 competencies
, color coded and conveniently formatted for you to print, cut, and turn into a deck of cards. 
Why would you want a deck of Competency cards? Ask anyone who has been to a Revivify! workshop. They make competency accessible, digestible and fun. Below are our top ten card games. Enjoy, and, please email the Task Force when you invent something new to do with cards.

10 things you can do with Competency Cards

1 Pick one randomly and reflect on how it is expressed it in your work during the day. Start a collection- a new way to focus each day.
2 Look through them at the end of your day and pull out the ones that stand out as your strengths. Start a collection of your daily strengths. Discover how you make the collection grow.
3 Look through them after an advanced training and pull out the ones that were addressed during the workshop
4 Look through your training manuals or videos. Pick a day (or a week, or a segment) and pull all the cards for the knowledge and abilities that were addressed directly and indirectly.
5 Look through the Amherst videos or transcripts. Pick a day (or a week, or a segment) and pull all the cards for the knowledge and abilities that were addressed that day (or week, or segment)
6 Gather together a trusted friend or two or three. Share the story of a difficulty you’ve had or are having in your practice. Invite your friends to look through the cards with you and pull the ones that address the knowledge and abilities you have applied to the situation. Then you can go back and look for cards that give you some other ideas to apply to the situation.
7 Use them in your study groups. Look through the cards, and invite each practitioner to choose cards that are of greatest interest. Plan and organize your sessions so that each member’s interests are addressed.
Shuffle and deal the cards, a few to each person. Then, each person in turn can tell stories and talk about how their particular cards are expressed in their work.
After your study group, everyone look through the cards and pull those that were addressed that day. Does everyone learn the same things? Do that for a few sessions, and then reflect as a group on the outcome. Do the sessions address the same competencies over and over? Is the group satisfied with the direction of the study? Is there a more focused way to direct your study?
8 Use the 1.2 Working with Groups cards when planning your next ATM® series. Go through them and find out if they give you some ideas about how to refine your plan.
9 Video yourself giving an FI® lesson or teaching an ATM lesson. Look through the 1.0 Self-Organization cards, or 1.1 Working with Individuals or 1.2 Working with Groups as you watch yourself. Pull out the cards that express your strengths as you see them. Then pull out a card or two from the remaining stack and use them to refine your teaching in your next several lessons.
10 Watch a video of Moshe giving an FI lesson. Go through the cards and pull out the ones that stand out in the lesson. Be appreciative and amazed.
