Succeeding Through Transitions: Transferring ease in everyday life

Utilize the key elements of the Feldenkrais Method® of somatic education with lessons on reversibility and opposition in everyday activities. This workshop inspires and elicits curiosity and success during exploration of processes used while getting in and out of bed, on and off the floor, and transitioning from sit/stand/sit. These necessary abilities often become compromised or even impossible during life’s course and make a critical difference in one’s independence, comfort, and confidence. Through observation and touch, we will explore and identify habituated patterns of movements that deny us our birthright for free and easy self-use.
