The Radiant Actor: Chekhov Technique meets the Feldenkrais MethodĀ® of somatic education
Although brilliant teachers take uniquely different paths, they sometimes lead to the emergence of related discoveries. Moshe Feldenkrais and the great acting teacher Michael Chekhov each developed an approach that engages the mind-body connection to illuminate a more consciously centered and potent being. Feldenkrais focused on "making the impossible possible, the possible easy and the easy elegant" while Chekov explored the use of "Ease, Beauty, Form and Wholeness." Both use movement to enhance awareness and expand our image, creativity and self-utilization.
