Beverly Atkins
Beverly Atkins is a GCFPCM and founder of Pauseture, a digital platform offering Awareness Through Movement® lessons designed to make the method more accessible for those with time constraints or attention deficit challenges. While working at Facebook and navigating back pain, ADHD, and misophonia in a high-stress environment, Beverly discovered the Feldenkrais Method® of somatic education. Daily ATM® lessons. Her mission is introducing people to the method and helping them to affordably build a daily practice to help with nervous system regulation, with the hope that more people will then explore live classes, private lessons, and professional Feldenkrais® trainings.

Stacy Barrows
Stacy Barrows is a Certified Feldenkrais® Practitioner, Pilates Teacher and has a doctorate in Physical Therapy. She is the owner of Smart Somatic Solutions Physical Therapy, Inc., a Los Angeles-based physical therapy clinic where she uses an integrative approach of using movement to optimize health. Stacy has done research on the Feldenkrais Method® of somatic education in collaboration with Mt. St Mary’s Physical Therapy school. She developed and patented the Smartroller®️ tools and published the SMARTROLLER GUIDE TO OPTIMAL MOVEMENT.

Elizabeth Beringer
Elizabeth Beringer has been involved with the practice and development of the Feldenkrais Method for more than 40 years. She studied directly with the founder Moshe Feldenkrais. She is the director of Feldenkrais Resources, which includes the ongoing development of new educational materials and an active international teaching schedule. Currently, she is the educational director of ongoing training programs in the UK, Switzerland and at the Feldenkrais Institute of San Diego, where she maintains her private practice.

   
 

Marcela Bretschneider
Marcela Bretschneider is an Assistant Trainer of the Feldenkrais Method® of somatic education. She offers ATM® and FI® lessons at her private practice in Argentina. Marcela is known for her deep, sensitive and emotionally attuned work. She is the creator of Feldenkrais® Films, a project dedicated to promoting the Method worldwide through visual media. Marcela has organized and given Feldenkrais workshops for the public and advanced trainings for practitioners in Mexico, Spain, Italy, Germany, and the United States.

   
 

Sheri Cohen
Sheri Cohen is a Trainer Candidate with 25 years’ experience leading a lively in-person and virtual Feldenkrais® practice in Seattle, Washington. Her teaching is informed by over 35 years in dance and improvisational creative practices. She was co-director of the New England ATM® Teacher Training, continues to teach in trainings in the US and Europe, and facilitates ‘Creative Consultation’ groups for practitioners. Sheri celebrates creativity and connection in the Feldenkrais Method® of somatic education.

Russell Delman
Russell Delman is deeply indebted to his more than 50 years of Zen meditation, movement awareness and somatic psychology. Trained by Moshe Feldenkrais from 1975-1978, Russell’s had a close personal relationship with Dr. Feldenkrais and has helped in educating more than 2500 Feldenkrais practitioners worldwide in 50+ trainings. He is also grateful for the profound influence of Eugene Gendlin, creator of “Focusing”, for his mentoring and friendship.

Russell is the founder of The Embodied Life School, a deep integration of Meditation, Feldenkrais Movement and Embodied Inquiry. Russell credits his 51 years of marriage to Feldenkrais trainer Linda Delman and the raising of their daughter, Liliana, as the greatest teachers in his life.

   
 

Ned Dwelle
Edward “Ned” Dwelle (b. 1944)Awareness Through Movement (ATM) in group settings with Mia Segal and Judith Stransky at Esalen Institute in 1972. He met Moshe Feldenkrais at Esalen in 1973 and began learning Functional Integration (FI) with Shlomo Efrat. In 1975, he joined the San Francisco Feldenkrais Professional Training Program (FPTP). Ned taught ATM through the San Rafael Adult Education program, sharing classes with Paul Rubin. Since 1977, he has continuously practiced and taught both ATM and FI, contributing to professional trainings in Europe, New Zealand, Israel, Mexico, and the USA. Notably, Ned is the only individual to have received explicit teaching permission from both Moshe Feldenkrais and Charlotte Selver (Sensory Awareness).

   
 

Jeff Haller
Jeff Haller PhD, Feldenkrais® Trainer, who regards the Feldenkrais Method® of somatic education as a pathway to the inner composure necessary for living a creative life in a challenging world. He studied directly with Dr. Moshe Feldenkrais, the founder of the Feldenkrais Method of somatic education. In 1983, Jeff graduated from his own professional training program in Amherst, Massachusetts. From 1984–1991 his studio offered classes in the Feldenkrais Method of somatic education, Aikido, Yoga, Tai Chi, and meditation. Since 1993, Jeff’s primary focus has been to train Feldenkrais teachers and sustain an extensive private practice.

Chrish Kresge
Chrish is a Feldenkrais® practitioner with 26 years of experience who has taught in six countries. Based in Washington, D.C., she maintains a private practice and teaches five Awareness Through Movement® classes each week on Zoom. Chrish works with performing artists and specializes in working with individuals recovering from stroke as well as those with other neurological and physical challenges. She co-edited the 2020 book Learning Through Movement, a collection of writings about the Feldenkrais Method® of somatic education. Chrish also serves on the board of FEFNA, a nonprofit dedicated to advancing education about the Feldenkrais Method of somatic education.

Michael Landau
Michael has been a Feldenkrais® practitioner for over 30 years. In 1994, he graduated from his professional training in Jerusalem, Israel. Michael was a professional pianist and university professor at the Vienna Conservatory. He moved to Chile where he currently lives and has a Feldenkrais practice in-person and online.

Jennifer Ann Lee
Jennifer Ann Lee is a Guild Certified Feldenkrais PractitionerCM with 28 years of experience in private practice. She studied with Mia Segal from 1996 to 2010 and served as a staff practitioner in Feldenkrais® Training programs. Since 2011, she has led movement-based dementia interventions in VA, DOD, and NIH-funded research studies. She specializes in training interdisciplinary teams and implementing person-centered and relationship-centered approaches that enhance function and well-being. Jennifer is a Master of Science in Dementia and Aging Studies candidate at Texas State University.

Nissa Lee
Nissa is a Guild Certified Feldenkrais PractitionerCM who owns a studio in San Luis Obispo, California. She has over 20 years of experience in bodywork. She teaches Awareness Through Movement® and Functional Integration® lessons at her studio and offers other forms of bodywork as well. Nissa’s goal in her practice is to help clients cultivate greater awareness and ease in both body and mind, supporting lasting, whole-body transformation.

Shara Ogin
Shara Ogin is a specialist in Holistic Pain Management with over 25 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist, Feldenkrais® practitioner, and Ergonomist. Focusing on how injuries, stress, and posture create unhelpful movement patterns, Shara helps clients use the Feldenkrais Method® of somatic education to restore ease and relieve pain. She is the author of three books, including A Quick Guide to Easing Pain in the Workplace & Beyond, as well as several DVDs and an online program.

Fritha Pengelly
Fritha Pengelly is a Guild Certified Feldenkrais PractitionerCM, a graduate of Jeff Haller’s IOPS training and an EFT Practitioner who is based in Northampton, MA. She has studied a number of complementary modalities associated with health and emotional resilience. Fritha offers Awareness Through Movement® classes, Functional Integration® lessons, individual EFT sessions and a variety of Feldenkrais® workshops in Northampton, MA and Online. Like her co-presenter, Fritha has a background in dance. She was a member of the New York City-based Doug Elkins Dance Company (1994-2001). She has taught as a visiting artist at a number of colleges in the United States.

Dimitri Popolov
Dimitri Popolov (GCFPCM) first experienced the Feldenkrais Method® of somatic education in 2003 and immediately felt its benefits. He completed his professional training at Instituto Feldenkrais in Portugal. He is also a 6th Dan in Ki Aikido and has been teaching it since 2003. He integrates decades of mind-body study and teaching experience to help others rediscover simplicity of well-being in their daily lives. Dimitri holds two PhDs: one in Computer Science and Engineering and a second PhD in Social Philosophy. Dimitri makes his home and has private practice in London, Ontario.

Roger Russell
Roger Russell MA, PT, GCFTCM, trained with Moshé Feldenkrais in San Francisco, Israel and Amherst, 1975-1982. He is a physical therapist and movement scientist, and a Feldenkrais® trainer since 1997. An American, he directs the Feldenkrais Zentrum Heidelberg, Germany. Author of many articles and two books in German about the Feldenkrais Method® of somatic education, he has presented or coordinated Feldenkrais movement and science conferences in Seattle, San Mateo, Paris, Berlin and Heidelberg and Oxford, England. In 2024 he and Jeff taught ATM® and gave talks about the Feldenkrais Method of somatic education at The Science of Consciousness conference in Tucson, Arizona.

Frederick Schjang
Frederick Schjang is a GCFPCM in New York City. He is the Founder and Organizer of the Global LGBTQIA+ and Everybody Else Feldenkrais® Festival, which has raised thousands of dollars for charity. Frederick developed Feldenkrais movement and fitness programming for Equinox Sports Clubs, New York Sports Clubs, SAGE LGBTQ Elder Center and the New York City Parks Department. He currently runs an online Feldenkrais membership program featuring teachers from around the world. At the post-secondary level, Frederick has taught in the NYU Doctorate in Physical Therapy Program, at the Parson's School of Design and the Hollins University MFA program in Dance.

Brenda Sorkin
Brenda Sorkin has worked with a diverse group of clients from infants to adults. An autoimmune disease at an early age led her to discover the movement approaches that helped her remain medication free and relieved her of pain from scoliosis. She brings to her Feldenkrais® practice a background in counseling with a Jungian orientation, Trager, Qigong and Biodynamic Cranial Sacral. She is a Senior Trainer for the work of Ruthy Alon in Movement Intelligence and a Child Space Practitioner.

Anna came to this work from a background in theater and psychology, and with great curiosity about non-verbal communication. She has been an Assistant Trainer for about forty years and currently practices in Western Connecticut and New York City.

   
 

Sarah Young
Sarah Young is a Guild Certified Feldenkrais PractitionerCM and dance artist based in Northampton, Massachusetts and Stolzenhagen, Germany. She has taught and performed dance nationally and internationally for nearly 30 years. Her ongoing curiosity of movement and an old dance injury led her to study the Feldenkrais Method® of somatic education under the direction of David Zemach-Bersin, New York City, she has been co-teaching Feldenkrais® workshops with Fritha Pengelly since 2014. She is currently a Teaching Fellow in the Dance Department at Smith College.

David Zemach-Bersin
Senior Feldenkrais Trainer David Zemach-Bersin met Moshe Feldenkrais in 1973 and studied with him for ten years in the U.S., England, and Israel. He also studied extensively in Israel and the U.S., with Gaby Yaron and Yochanon Rywerant, both of whom graduated from Dr. Feldenkrais' first training program. David has directed 19 Feldenkrais Professional Training Programs and teaches advanced training around the globe. Other influences on his work have been Yang form Tai Chi, Aikido, meditation, and systems biology. He has maintained a private Functional Integration practice since 1977 and is recognized for his contribution to strengthening Dr. Feldenkrais’s legacy. A graduate of UC Berkeley with two years of post-graduate work in physiological psychology, David has created numerous audio and video programs for Feldenkrais Practitioners. He is a past President of FGNA, and a co-founder of Feldenkrais Resources and the Feldenkrais Institute of New York. Since 2020, he has been teaching primarily online and has worked to synthesize his thinking and the profound benefits of Dr. Feldenkrais' ideas in programs for both Feldenkrais Teachers and the public, most of which can be found at FeldenkraisAccess.com. David would like to acknowledge his debt to Mark Reese and Dennis Leri, whose intellect and friendship he greatly misses. David and his wife, Kaethe, live in the Farmington Valley area of Connecticut.
