Trainee Awareness Through Movement® Teachers

To become an Authorized Trainee Awareness Through Movement Teacher, you must:

  1. Complete the number of required hours in an accredited training program;
  2. Receive the approval of your Educational Director; and
  3. Submit the Servicemark Authorization Form for Trainee Awareness Through Movement® Teachers to FGNA below: 

As an Authorized Trainee Awareness Through Movement Teacher, while enrolled in your training program, you will be allowed to:

  • Teach Awareness Through Movement classes and promote yourself as an authorized trainee (student) Awareness Through Movement teacher
  • Use FGNA service marks as described in the policy and guidelines for Trainees

I have read and agree to follow these FGNA Policies as they apply to Trainee Awareness Through Movement® teachers:

  • E2.4.2.1 Service Marks, Certification Marks and Trademarks
  • E2.3.3.2 Code of Professional Conduct
  • E2.3.2.1 Feldenkrais Method® Standards of Practice

I understand that I am only eligible to teach Awareness Through Movement lessons and to use FGNA service marks as long as I comply with FGNA policies and am enrolled in an accredited Feldenkrais® training program.

I understand that as an Authorized Trainee ATM Teacher, I will receive email communications from FGNA including: communications regarding my status, renewal deadlines, announcements and newsletters, learning opportunities, publications, and other information relevant to Feldenkrais practitioners and trainees. I understand that FGNA will not sell my email address without my permission, a valid postal address is required; and my postal address may be used for mailings from FGNA members or approved parties regarding Feldenkrais Method learning opportunities, products or other offers.
